Why am I offering this deal right now? Well, I'm mom to two wonderful rescue dogs, one of whom, Coho, was adopted a year ago with a big of a limp. It turns out that his leg was broken when he was a puppy, before he was rescued, and it was so weak that he's fractured it again.
However, it won't heal on its own because there's a bone chip blocking the bone from growing back together. He needs surgery, pretty soon, to remove the bone chip and mend the bone.
We finally got the estimate from our vet yesterday - $3000.
We are looking around to see if there's a less expensive clinic available, but in the meantime we really do need to raise a lot of money.
